desk drawer insert / organizer v1

This particular insert is a custom design for a customer, and might seem a little oversized, to some, (for a very old desk). It is constructed completely from 1/4" plywood with zero fasteners. Every joint is glued and is ether a butt joint or a tab and slot joint for rigidity. A shallow dado groove is cut in the bottom piece, to give alignment and stability to all vertical pieces.

The way that the plywood is manufactured does not lend itself to being finished with a traditional wood finish, therefore you need to pick a paint color as well as a sheen for your insert to be coated with.
